What can I say, the 1st of April came around and brought with it gorgeous Spring sunshine and an oh so gorgeous mini catalogue. I am sure that my grammar police, Chloe, is cringing right now. I can hear her saying..."Mum you can't put gorgeous that many times, think of another adjective". Well I am sorry but GORGEOUS describes it all so well, LOL!
You can take a look at the mini catalogue by clicking on the picture in the right hand sidebar, or contact me and I will post one out to you.
As promised here are the projects that we made at Sam's party on Monday night. We used new sets from the mini, Forest Friends and (yes again), Oval All.
The colours used on the card are So Saffron, Chocolate Chip and Mellow Moss. The favour box is made with Apricot Appeal cardstock and the scallop circle is Certainly Celery.
By the time I got back from Sudbury today the sun had started to go down, so the colours aren't the best. I shouldn't be such a sleepy head in the morning then I could have got a good picture.
Here is a picture of the favour box from the side. It is the perfect size to fit a creme egg, but they don't last very long around here so it isn't in the picture!
The template below and can be resized very easily to suit your needs.
For the creme egg box above start with a rectangle 8¼" x 3¾".
Score 1⅛" in from both long side edges.
Score 3¼" in from both short side edges.
Cut along the long edge score lines until you get to the horizontal (shorter) score lines.
Cut off approx 2/3 off each corner flap. (grey areas). You are left with flap B.
Stick flap B to the inside of A, repeat on all 4 flaps. You now have a small shallow box with two longer sides.
Punch a hole in the top of each flap A and join together with a ribbon bow, you now have your favour box.
See you tomorrow with some more cards using new sets from the mini catalogue.
Happy Stampin'

Thats now another one on my wish list.
They are georgousness gone crazy.
